Trotting C Sales Co. was established in 1996 when we acquired a
partnership in the Mount Airy Miniature Horse Sale. Over the years we have grown
the sale company as well as expanding our company's footprint in the ever
growing market. Our partner in the Mount Airy Sale was killed in a tragic farm
tractor accident in January 1999 and we are now the sole proprietors of the
oldest miniature horse sale in the world. The Mount Airy Miniature Horse Sale
has been in continuous operation since November 1986 originally holding two
sales a year and three sales a year since 1995. We have expanded the sale
business to include managing and/or working sales in multiple states including
North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
Ronnie is a past President of the AMHA and served six years on the B.O.D. and
three years on the Executive Committee and is a licensed and bonded auctioneer
in multiple states.
Janet is a sale manager having managed the office for some of the biggest
production and consignment sales in the industry.
Ronnie, Janet, and their family and staff are very knowledgeable and well known
in the Miniature Horse Industry and offer professional services putting their
experience and reputation to work for you. Being well know by both the sellers
and consignors and having extensive knowledge of the top breeders and bloodlines
is a great advantage to the sales and if we can help you with your future sales
whether it is a production, consignment, reduction, or dispersal sale, from just
professional auctioneer to a turn key job of complete management, or anywhere in
